The Capital Jaguars held off the host Manzano Monarchs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Jaguars now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Grande for a non-league test on Thursday, October 20. Capital will confront a Ravens team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 4-7.
The Monarchs (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Los Lunas was nudged by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
