The James River Knights volleyball team (Buchanan, VA), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA)
The Highlanders (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany nudged Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights encounter the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 20. James River will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record.
