The Poquoson Islanders prevailed the visiting New Kent Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Islanders now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a non-league test on Thursday, October 20.
The Trojans (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions enter the test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Warhill dropped by Tabb (Yorktown, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
