The First Flight Nighthawks soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Currituck County Knights to 0 in the Nighthawks league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Nighthawks face the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest, on Wednesday, October 19. First Flight will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Aces enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Currituck County (Barco, NC).
The Knights now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northeastern for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest on Monday, October 24. Currituck County will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
