The Emporia Spartans smashed the visiting St. Mary's Academy Crusaders soccer squad by a margin of 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Spartans now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Junction City for a Centennial match on Thursday, October 20.
