Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Forest Hills will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 9-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).

The Redhawks now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Academy for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, October 20. Monroe will confront a Cougars team coming off a 5-2 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-11.
