Georgia High School Softball - Pope bounces Allatoona

The Pope Greyhounds the host Allatoona Buccaneers softball squad by a final score of 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Greyhounds (30-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Jackson County held off Shiloh (Snellville, GA), 7-0, in a league battle.

The Buccaneers now possess a 19-10 record. They play next when they travel to Newnan for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 19. Allatoona will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 20-9.
