The Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) softball nipped the host Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Chargers (23-7) will now prepare for their bout against Washington (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 11-9 record. In their last bout, Washington held off South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), 23-11, in a league bout.
The Leopards now possess a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to North Murray for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 19. Banks County will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Washington (Atlanta, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-18.
