The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA), saw Central's softball squad achieve victory over Cherokee Bluff by a count of 9-0.
The Lions now sport a 23-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hampton for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 19. Central will face a Hornets squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Cherokee Bluff falls to 13-15 on the campaign.
