The Sussex Central Tigers volleyball team (Sussex, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA)

The Dragons (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Indians enter the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Southampton defeated Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Thursday, October 20. Sussex Central will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record.
