The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA), saw Laurel's volleyball squad nip Beaver by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year.

The Bobcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a bout on Thursday, October 20.
