The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) and the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), saw Bethel's volleyball squad beat Woodside by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Bethel upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Bruins travel to Menchville (Newport News, VA) to play the Monarchs in a Peninsula bout on Thursday, October 20. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 17-0. Menchville won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA)

The Wolverines now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Phoebus for a Peninsula bout on Thursday, October 20. Woodside will play a Phantoms squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms record now stands at 4-13.
