The Bluefield Beavers held off the host Montcalm Generals volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Beavers now have a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 25.
The Generals (8-11) will now prepare for their test against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks enter the Mountain State test with a 25-12 record. In their last test, James Monroe held off Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV), 3-1, in a non-league test.
