The La Vega Pirates volleyball team (Waco, TX), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX)

The Cougars (21-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets enter the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 18-18 record. In their last challenge, Robinson went down by Salado (Salado, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, October 21. La Vega will attempt to move on its 2-24 season record. The Cadets enter the challenge with a 5-22 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX).
