New Mexico High School Volleyball - Rio Rancho tips Cibola

October 18, 2022: Rio Rancho, NM 87124

Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Rams battle the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 match, on Thursday, October 20. Rio Rancho will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).

With the loss, Cibola drops to 12-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to battle the Storm in a 5A District 1 match on Thursday, October 20. The Storm come into the match with a record of 14-5. Cleveland won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
