The Hatch Valley Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cobre Indians to 1 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hot Springs for a 3A District 3 game on Thursday, October 20. Hatch Valley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 16-1.
The Indians (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors enter the 3A District 3 game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Socorro was dropped by Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM), 3-0, in a league game.
