Utah High School Volleyball - Cottonwood crushed by Payson

The Payson Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cottonwood Colts to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stansbury for a 5A Region 7 game on Tuesday, October 25. Payson will meet a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tooele (Tooele, UT). The Stallions record now stands at 9-20.

The Colts (0-14) will now prepare for their game against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes enter the 5A Region 7 game with a 11-13 record. In their last game, Uintah gained a win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT), 3-2, in a league game.
