Connecticut High School Volleyball - Coventry over Sports & Medical Sciences Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) and the host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), saw Coventry's volleyball squad beat Sports & Medical Sciences Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Coventry upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, October 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Lyman Memorial won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT)

The Tigers now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 20. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Phoenix record now stands at 11-2.
