Next up, the Eagles battle the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a Mid-Illini contest, on Thursday, October 20. Dunlap will attempt to better on its 8-18 season record. The Redbirds come into the contest with a 28-4 record after their 2-0 league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).

With the loss, Galesburg drops to 12-21 on the campaign. The Silver streaks host Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to battle the Pioneers in a Western Big 6 contest on Tuesday, October 18. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 4-20. Alleman lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
