The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA) and the visiting Nazareth Academy (Philadelphia, PA), saw Gwynedd Mercy Academy's volleyball squad beat Nazareth Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Gwynedd Mercy Academy upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Monarchs host Sacred Heart Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA) to play the Lions in a Catholic Academies bout on Wednesday, October 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Sacred Heart Academy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA)
