The Harlingen Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host San Benito Greyhounds to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now have a 24-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivera for a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Saturday, October 22. Harlingen will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 26-15.
The Greyhounds (4-15) will now prepare for their game against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Falcons enter the 6A Region IV District 32 game with a 33-6 record. In their last game, Los Fresnos gained a win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
