The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA) and the visiting Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA), saw Twin Valley's volleyball squad beat Hurley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Twin Valley upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Panthers host Grundy (Grundy, VA) to play the Golden Wave in a Black Diamond bout on Thursday, October 20. The Golden Wave go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Grundy won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA)

The Rebels now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a Black Diamond bout on Thursday, October 20. Hurley will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Council (Council, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-8.
