The Leverett's Chapel Lions held off the host Kennard Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions now have a 16-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neches for a 1A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, October 21. Leverett's Chapel will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 26-8.
The Tigers (1-21) will now prepare for their test against Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX). The Eagles enter the 1A Region IV District 25 test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Apple Springs was nudged by Neches (Neches, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
