Texas High School Volleyball - Lyford over Rio Hondo

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX) and the host Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX), saw Lyford's volleyball squad beat Rio Hondo by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lyford upgrades its record to 19-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX) to play the Blue Devil in a 3A Region IV District 32 bout on Saturday, October 22. The Blue Devil go into the bout with a record of 5-11.

The Bobcats now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Progreso for a 3A Region IV District 32 bout on Friday, October 21.
