The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) and the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), saw Pyramid Lake's volleyball squad beat Oasis Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Pyramid Lake upgrades its record to 12-9 on the year. The Lakers host Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV) to play the Serpents in a 1A Central bout on Thursday, October 20. The Serpents go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Mineral County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV)

The Bighorns now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Sage Ridge for a 1A Western bout on Saturday, October 22. Oasis Academy will play a Scorpions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-6.
