The Permian Panthers held off the host San Angelo Central Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 23-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frenship for a 6A Region I District 2 test on Friday, October 21. Permian will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 15-20.

The Bobcats (26-16) will now prepare for their test against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels enter the 6A Region I District 2 test with a 27-9 record. In their last test, Midland Legacy held off Midland (Midland, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
