In Wednesday's league battle, the host Branford Hornets soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Wilbur Cross Governors.
The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams come into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Cheshire was overwhelmed by Mercy (Middletown, CT), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
