In Wednesday's league battle, the host Marist Spartans soccer squad scored a good 12-0 triumph over the Cottage Grove Lions.
The Spartans (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Catlin Gabel thwarted Banks (Banks, OR), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Lions (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates come into the 4A Sky Em battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Marshfield was overwhelmed by North Bend (North Bend, OR), 4-0, in a league battle.
