In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Thomaston Bears soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Nonnewaug Chiefs.
The Bears now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Terryville for a Berkshire test on Friday, October 20. Thomaston will meet a Kangaroos squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Kangaroos record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Nonnewaug drops to 9-3 on the season. The Chiefs host Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to meet the Spartans in a Berkshire test on Thursday, October 19. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-13. Shepaug Valley lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT)
