South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 23. South Caldwell will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 18-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).

The Huskies now possess a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Watauga for a challenge on Monday, October 23. Ashe County will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-4.
