Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Central Academy will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.

The Redhawks now have a 2-6 record.
