The Ashbrook Greenwave soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host North Gaston Wildcats to 1 in the Greenwave league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Greenwave face the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 19. Ashbrook will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Pumas enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC).
The Wildcats now have a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crest for a Big South 3A contest on Monday, October 23. North Gaston will face a Chargers team coming off a 8-1 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-13.
