North Carolina High School Soccer - Montgomery Central knocks off Central Davidson

The Montgomery Central Timberwolves soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Central Davidson Spartans to 2 in the Timberwolves league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Timberwolves face the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A contest, on Monday, October 23. Montgomery Central will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 7-13 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).

The Spartans now have a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they host North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A contest on Monday, October 23. Central Davidson will face a Black Knights team coming off a 4-3 league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-8.
