St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A challenge, on Monday, October 23. St. Stephens will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 4-1 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).

The Mustangs now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A challenge on Monday, October 23. East Lincoln will confront a Raiders team coming off a 4-1 league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 11-9.
