Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Demons confront the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Glenwood Springs will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO).

The Bulldogs now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle Valley for a 4A Western Slope challenge on Saturday, October 21. Palisade will confront a Devils team coming off a 1-0 league win over Summit (Frisco, CO). The Devils record now stands at 6-7.
