The Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) volleyball overcame the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
With the win, Blaine upgrades its record to 5-9 on the year. The Borderites travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to face the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Monday, October 23. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 21-7. Burlington-Edison won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
The Mountaineers now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Saturday, October 21. Mt. Baker will face a Cubs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 0-15.
