With the win, Maury upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Commodores travel to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 24. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Deep Creek won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)

The Mighty Bookers now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Norview for a Eastern bout on Monday, October 23. Booker T. Washington will play a Pilots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots record now stands at 9-4.
