The Fairfax Stampede volleyball team (Laveen, AZ), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ)

The Chargers (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights enter the 5A - Metro challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Metro Tech was dropped by South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Stampede encounter the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A - Metro challenge, on Monday, October 23. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 1-18 season record. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ).
