In Wednesday's league contest, the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Pioneers battle the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Saturday, October 21. Nooksack Valley will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 20-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).

With the loss, Meridian moves to 11-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Bellingham (Bellingham, WA) to battle the Bayhawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Saturday, October 21. The Bayhawks go into the contest with a record of 7-11. Bellingham lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Lakewood (Arlington, WA)
