In Friday's league match, the host Calhoun Sandcrabs football squad scored a decisive 56-13 triumph over the Jones Trojans.

The Sandcrabs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A-1 Region IV District 15 match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Floresville was routed by El Campo (El Campo, TX), 66-0, in a league match.
