In Friday's league game, the Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) football team triumphed over the visiting Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR), by a tally of 56-8.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR) in a 2A Region 2 game, on Friday, October 25. Cross County will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 46-13 league win over Izard County (Brockwell, AR).
The Trojans (0-6) will now prepare for their game against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Warriors enter the 2A Region 2 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, East Poinsett County overwhelmed Earle (Earle, AR), 36-26, in a league game.
