In Friday's league match, the host Honoka'a Dragons football squad scored a good 27-17 triumph over the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani.
The Dragons (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Ka'u (Pahala, HI). The Trojans come into the Big Island II match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Ka'u went down by Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI), 2-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Ka Makani meet the Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI) in a Big Island II match, on Saturday, October 26. Hawaii Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Daggers come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 6-0 league loss to Kohala (Kapaau, HI).
