In Friday's league game, the Irmo Yellow Jackets (Columbia, SC) football team overcame the host White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), by a tally of 35-21.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 game, on Friday, November 1. Irmo will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 4-4 record after their 30-6 league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC).
