The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) and the visiting McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR), witnessed Marked Tree's football squad topple McCrory by a count of 38-30.
The Indians (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Izard County was outscored by Des Arc (Des Arc, AR), 46-13, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) in a 2A Region 2 contest, on Friday, October 25. McCrory will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 36-26 league loss to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR).
