Texas High School Football - Montgomery trounces Splendora

October 18, 2024: Splendora, TX 77372

In Friday's league match, the visiting Montgomery Bears football squad scored a decisive 62-28 triumph over the Splendora Wildcats.

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their match against West Fork (Kingwood, TX). The Gators come into the 5A-2 Region II District 8 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, West Fork was routed by Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX), 37-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats meet the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 25. Splendora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 49-0 league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, TX).
