Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Old Town moves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a Class B - North test on Saturday, October 19. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 9-4. The Trojans now sport a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ellsworth for a Class B - North test on Tuesday, October 22. Mount Desert Island will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
