North Carolina High School Soccer - Cornerstone Charter nudges River Mill

In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the River Mill Jaguars.

The Cardinals (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains go into the Northwest Piedmont 1A outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Bishop McGuinness got by Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC), 6-0, in a league match.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Ascend Leadership for a Central Tar Heel 1A match on Monday, October 21. River Mill will meet a Aviators team coming off a 5-0 league win over Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Aviators record now stands at 6-6.
