With the win, Alamo Navajo improves its record to 9-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to encounter the Grizzlies in a 1A District 3 battle on Thursday, October 24. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 0-17.

The Cardinals now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hondo Valley for a 1A District 3 battle on Tuesday, October 22. Corona/Vaughn will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Clovis Christian (Clovis, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.
