Maryland High School Volleyball - Our Lady of Good Counsel tips Bishop Ireton

October 18, 2024: Olney, MD 20853

The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals to 2 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to The Academy of the Holy Cross for a Washington Catholic outing on Tuesday, October 22. Our Lady of Good Counsel will play a Tartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The Tartans record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Bishop Ireton drops to 6-18 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to play the Wolves in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 7-9. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. John's (Washington, DC)
