The China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) volleyball knocked off the host La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 25-11 record. They play next when they host Lorena for a 4A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, October 22. China Spring will clash with a Leopards team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 22-14.

With the loss, La Vega drops to 4-20 on the campaign. The Pirates host Connally (Waco, TX) to clash with the Cadets in a 4A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, October 22.
